So many discussions on break-in periods for bikes, I was wondering if the bike has to be broken-in per Kawasaki's manual before using Synthetic motor oil?

Your rings are seated at 200 miles so that point you could switch to syn oil. Most of us prefer to play it conservatively and put on at least 1K miles before making the switch. If ya feel like doing something oil related then change your oil more frequently during the break-in, it'll certainly help get the small break-in particles (that flow right through your filter) out of the engine.
