I took a couple of days when I was in Reno and rented a 2008 Fatboy and went riding.
Here are some pict I took.

I will say that 6th gear was nice on the long roads.
If felt small compaired to my nomad, more like the 750 but with the power of the Nomad.
Not a bad bike but I really needed a backrest for those 400 mile days.
It was quite a ride in the Upper Desert.
