Actually the main ride Chattanooga Tenn. to Florence Ala. is Sept. 20th... Chattanooga TN. to Florence AL., through Jasper TN., Monteagle TN., Cowan TN., Winchester TN., Fayetteville TN., Pulaski TN., Lawrenceburg TN., to Florence AL., and end of main ride....
Extended ride Sept. 21-22 Tuscumbia Ala. to Okmulgee OK. through Corinth MS., Senatobia MS., Helena AR., Pine Bluff AR., and Hot Springs AR. overnight..... Leave Sept. 22 to Heavener OK. lunch, and on to Okmulgee OK.
You must enter ride at beginning or at a rest stop or you will be ticketed and asked to leave...
Expected Cycles & riders 100,000-130,000... WOW.... At least that is the way I read it...

My car mechanic and his son are doing this ride. He is a regular, but it will be his son's first. They are also going to the Dragon. That's a lot of bikes!

Your mechanic might also want to ride the Devil's Triangle, Hwy. 116 through Petros TN. and by Brushy mountain prison, it is a pretty good ride and not as crowded as Hwy. 129 the Dragon... I worked at Fontana dam & drove Hwy. 129 in the 80s before the bikers made 129 famous... It was a good ride then, but has gotten very popular now and is very crowded especially on the week ends, there has even been talk of closing it to bikers, I have heard...

Well I guess the first post was right... Anyway I set up my camcorder up on a tripod and recorded the ride as it left Cowan Tn. and also shot with the DSLR camera 437 shots, filled a 2G CF card, so they must have come through...lol...
