I am going to be putting on the tires I bought- Pirelli's, and at the same time I will be lubing the splines, and changing the final drive oil..
I plan on using honda moly paste: http://www.hondapartsnow.com/parts/08734-0001.html
will one tube be enough?
also, is SAE 80w90 gear oil good for the final drive, and how much? Would it hurt to put a little sea-foam in before the change? I do it for the engine oil, and was wondering if it would hurt to do it on the final drive... thanks.

One tube should be plenty enough for many lubings! You don't need a whole lot, just cover everything with a nice layer and you're good to go until the next re-lube.
And watch out. That grease has a tendency to get all over everything!!
As for the final drive oil, the manual says API GL-5 Hypoid gear oil, SAE90 above 40º, SAE80 below 40º.
I guess it wouldn't hurt to Seafoam the final drive first, but that's just a guess.

I have two new, unopened tubes of that Honda Moly 60 paste, you can have one for $10 shipped to your door if you want. And there's enough paste in a tube to do the job several times too.

I don't mean to hijack this thread by any means, and won't post here again about this, but both (2) of my extra tubes of Moly 60 are spoken for.

An SAE 80W-90, or 75W-90 API GL-5 hypoid gear oil is good for this application. Go with either a semi-synthetic or a full synthetic.
You'll know when you've put in enuf when, as you spin the wheel, the new fluid starts to drain back out...
and no, don't waste seafoam in this application. That area shouldn't require that kind of cleaning, anyway.
Honda moly-60 is a fine choice for lubing your rear splines. And all the above folks are correct. One tube should be good for at least 2 lube sessions.
