I just replaced my clutch cable and rerouted it the same way that is had been installed from the factory. Since i changed it when i turn the handle bars hard right the clutch seems to not be released and i have to turn back a little bit to the left before i can move foward. with my road test only a few days away, i need to correct this issue figure 8s are hard if you have no gos. Any help would be greatly usful at this time.

Did you leave a little slack in the cable after reinstallation?

Did you adjust it per the manual? Simply re routing it is only half the battle. You still need to adjust it as it will be a different length from the one you replaced. Stretching over time and wear will have caused the old cable to be longer than the new one.
