I am always game and I am sure I can get another couple of riders together.

Need to shoot for early Saturdya rides with the afternoon rain pattern starting (thankfully!).

Let me know and we can set it up.

I'd like to but still repairing my new (Old) vn750. I'll keep an eye out for further postings. it sounds like fun. Any idea on what type of circuit or path might be contemplated and how far?

We usually head up North into Pasco & Hernando counties for some rural country roads. Loads of them up there.

Will post next time we plan a ride.

Hey Tampa/St. Pete riders, why don't we plan a ride to the Keys in late March or early April '09? Going over 7-mile bridge would be awesome.

See my previous post for this ride HERE (http://www.vn750.com/forum/showthread.php?t=7614). I've got a lake house in Sebring where we can meet. Bring our wives, they'll love it. They can follow by car (my wife's car has 7 seat belts) and we can stay in Ft. Lauderdale or Miami one night, then stay in KW for 1 or 2 nights.

I haven't gotten any response yet to my previous post. So if I don't get any interest now, I guess I'll just drop the idea and cage it with my family. But the idea of riding my baby over 7-mile bridge and going to southernmost point USA just seems so awesome. It's so laid back, and the seafood is GREAT.

rick, now that sounds like a great idea. I would be in on that one and my wife and son love the keys, so it's a go. I live in Lakeland and would meet up anywhere between here and there. Let me know what comes of the planning and count me in.

wish, a riding/camping trip sounds like something I have wanted to do for a while and am actually planning one this fall. Let me know if you are interested in going to the west coast of Fl instead of Ginnie. I am really into fishing and hit the west coast often.

Hey ScubaDiver, it's about 55 miles from Lakeland to Sebring, not a big drive at all. We could meet up in Sebring and make our way down to Key West in 2 days or so. There be some mighty nice scuba diving in Key West, I bet. Along with some jet skiing and parasailing, we should have an awesome time that your son would never forget.

I'm looking at a potential date of Saturday April 4 to meet up in Sebring. Spring break in Broward County public school is 4/6-10/2009. My kids are out of school, so my dates are flexible. I have a 4 bed/3.5 bath vacation home on Lake Sebring where our families can canoe and fish and stay at overnight, watch Wild Hogs on DVD (it's hilarious!), then leave sometime Sunday for Miami or Ft. Lauderdale (3 hour ride including stop). Maybe spend Monday there, and leave Tuesday after rush hour for Key West (3 hour ride not including stops). It would be real nice to stay until Saturday morning April 11th, then head back (opposite most of the traffic flow). However we can certainly leave earlier, because Easter Sunday is the 12th, and because it's real expensive to stay in Key West. If we're smart, we'll rent a house for our time in the Keys and split the $$.

Anyone else out there interested? It would be nice to have 3 or 4 bikers together. Things like this take a bit of early planning to get the time off from work and to make reservations, etc. Right now the dates are flexible but the ones who sign up early get to set the dates...
