I need to lube my splines and fergy suggests replacing the o-ring behind the teeth in his write-up: http://pages.tstar.net/~fergy/writeups/final_drive1.html, step 8.

Could someone confirm that this part is 92055-1280 on Kawasaki's DRIVE SHAFT/FINAL GEAR schematic?

Any other wearable parts that I should replace for good measure while I'm in there?

I ordered 92055-1044....is that right????..........being delivered tomorrow.....from Ron Ayers....I'll let ya know...

replacing the brake pads...while I'm there......they're from Old Bike Barn. An to op it all off new sneakers....Dunlop 404's! I put the front on late last season.

Thanks Rognyn. I would think that a new rear brake and tire should make a noticeable difference.
