On our 87 vn750, the front brake lever does not fully return to its original position to shut the brake light off. Has any one have a fix for this one? Should we disassemble/clean the master cylinder and either replace or streach the return spring out farther? There is not an adjustment on the switch itself. I've temporarily epoxied a spacer to take up the differance so the light will stay off. But that only last a couple of rides. (probably will use better epoxy next time...)The lever is working very freely and piveting fine on it's bolt. Plenty of pressure to the brakes. I haven't blead the system either.
