Ok, it has always been my understanding that if you call yourself a "Service Provider" then that is what you do. Provide a service.
Lately the service provider that runs VN750.com has not done much of either.
Bear with me as I voice my rant and frustrations, but I just spent the last 45 minutes painfully waiting for pages to load and to try to respond to posts. I managed to get to 2 so far. When I got into the forum it took so long to load that "New Posts" no longer showed as new!
I have a few other sites I am webmaster for. Both of these have a quickly extended credits to the contract when they have experienced down time. On one they were down for 4 hours and I got a week tacked onto my service contract AND Domain name registration!
Bargain providers sometimes hold true to the phrase.. "You get what you paid for" Bargain price, bargain service.
Spence, we need something positive on this.. I know it has been voiced before.. but if this is just too much for you now in trying to deal with these people and keep up with the updates (Front page could use updating) then there are others willing to step in and get the site back on track with a more dependable provider. I realize that it will also take new funding to get it moved but I would rather give up a piece of chrome instead of seeing this die a slow painful death because it is not accessible!
Rant over!
