Can a clutch cable out of adjustment prevent a bike from starting?
To make a long story short, my bike will not start. Thinking this was an electrical problem, I have focused on the starter, relay, battery, etc... All of which appear to be fine. Then my wife was talking to a guy that had a simular problem with a Yamaha. He said his problem turned out to be something related to the clutch. I have notice that clutch cable does need adjusted. When pulling it, it kind of steps or catches about four or five times before it is completely squeezed. I didn't think at first that it was related to the starting problem, but maybe it does. I haven't touched that yet because I didn't want to and to my problems, but adjusting the clutch cable should be fairly easy, right. Any case that is tonights project.
