I got it into the shed the other day for a winter's slumber. Come spring I'll do all the odds and ends necessary to get it rolling. I removed the battery and brought it inside, and put some stabilizer in the tank. Anything else I should do?

Nitro...I used to 'winterize', but now I ride...on the centerstand at least once per week. It's my therapy! I go thru the gears and run it till it gots hot. I put Sta-Bil in the tank, and let a little air out of the tires. I have an un-heated garage which helps make this possible...
When I did put it away for the winter...
Put it on the centerstand. On a tarp or other water proof material.
Good final cleaning.
Change the oil & filter.
I squirt some fogging oil in the spark plug holes and crank it a bit to coat the cylinders.
Sta-Bil in the gas tank.
Covered the tailpipes & airboxes w/ Saran wrap.
Sprayed the underside w/ WD40.
Battery indoors on a Battery Tender.
Perhaps most important, cover with a clean, breathable cover, like a sheet. NOT a tarp. A tarp will hold moisture in, and make for rust, esp the gauges.
Can't think of anything else right now...

I hadn't thought of covering the intake/exhaust, I'll do that today. I do have it covered with the cover I got from the guy I bought it from. It's an actual motorcycle cover, so it should be OK. I've never heard of fogging oil, where can I get this? Seems like a good idea.
