I have to attend some training in Dallas on Nov 8-11, anybody got any good ideas where to stay or sights to see while I'm there?

Who is paying for the hotel? You or the company? There are some nice hotels in Dallas. Where about is the training?

Believe it or not, I'm actually going to be in Arlington, TX that week. Not too far from Dallas, for some training too! Strange coincidence. There is a nice race track somewhere NW side of Dallas where you do timed laps in some pretty fast go carts . I did that with my brother a few years back, we had a blast. I'm going with two others and I won't have a car, and I know I have at least one night booked already (TBD) day with a friend I used to work with who now lives in Arlington. So maybe somehow we can get together.
That would be funny, travel all the way to Texas to meet ;-)

I think you are talking about Speedzone. It is a cool place. When are you coming to Arlington? I am from Arlington and do not work too far form there.

LBJ Boulevard, haven't booked a hotel yet but the company is paying. Whooo Hooo

Cool. We are selling the house and will have a place in Arlington temporarily. Maybe we can get together. LBJ is a pretty wide space in Dallas. So you havent booked the hotel yet? Spence and Red Baron..rooms booked yet?

Nope, no rooms booked yet. I'll check on where the training is. I think it's low numbers on the LBJ freeway.

Nope, still don't have travel info yet. Sometime next week. Will be staying in Arlington somewhere close to L3.
