: Problem with setting forks.

When the motorcycle was parked, someone backed up a car into the motocycle's front tire. Then the froks of the motorcycle changed their position. I tried to fix them, I partially fixed them, but im not sure if they are 100% fixed. How do you check it? :BLAM:

Did they move in the triple tree clamps???

I've never dealt with this on the Vulcan, but on my dirtbike, if the forks weren't lined up right, the handlebars would look/feel like you were in a very slight turn even though you were going straight.

Best way to check is go for a ride and see.

My forks were kinda tweaked in the triple trees when I took a spill and it took me a few times to get it "just right".

I found that loosening the bolts on the front fender helped with getting proper alignment.

It's a job that sux... good luck
