Hello fellow Vulcan riders. I am Josh Gregory and I am a new member to this group. I have owned my 94 vulcan since Febuary when my father-in-law (who alot of you know as Razor) sold it to me. He moved up to the 1500 classic FI and I moved in for the kill! I have alot of love for my beast and love to show it off. Ive got some plans for customizing this winter. Time will tell. I also know a certain member by the name of Hoot. Real good guy and always something good to say. By the way Hoot, Ill take that in cash! Well, I guess Ill look forward for yalls replies. Safe riding.

Yeah, right! The check is in the mail. But seriously, welcome to the group. Not much we can offer here that Raz can't help with. But its always more satisfying to git'r dun on your own.

Good Luck

Yeah yeah.. Hoot's the only one you know here *L* Guess again! Was great riding back with you from Eureka. (Quick little update.. Starr did the ride back with a bad wheel bearing, half of it gone on one side by the time we got back! Just glad it didn't seize up on him)

We had caught a little noise while we were in Eureka Springs, but couldn't tell if it was maybe a brake rub or what. Only heard it every so often on the curves.
In fact, first time I heard it I loooked back because I thought we had picked up something under the bike. Sort of a 'click/ping' sound like a wire had hit the bike.
It got progressively worse as we headed back to where he could feel it too. (Not bad, but enough to where he knew something wasn't right).
One of the benefits of knowing your bike and it's sounds/feel. I don't think it would have lasted going out to Utah, and especially pulling a bike trailer back.
Once again I think that ride bell saved us or at least got us home where it could be investigated and fixed right.

Sunday was great... got just north of Des Moines (about 575 miles) and the wind picked up so much it was throwing me around the lane. I stayed there that night. Monday I nearly froze my pa-tootie off for the remaining 125 miles, but made it home safe and sound.

Glad to hear you found the chaps... what luck to get a match!
