I like the organization of these boards. The Yahoo boards are great for just a few people, but with as many that are in there now it is just crazy trying to follow any one thread.

I will be here. Just set up different topic areas and lets start posting.

If you do post something on the yahoo site about something posted here, don't repeat it, just say that it is here and point them here to read about it.

Now this is a forum! :D This is exactly what I've been wanting to replace our Yahoo group. The group has too many members now and is really an endless list of topics that takes quite a while to read through. For those of you new to forums/message boards this is a typical layout and finding info is 1000% easier. I hope most of us from the Yahoo group can migrate over here. This is a welcome change after two different Yahoo groups that at one point didn't seem like membership would top 100.

cooking the question indeed. but, it looks great, and i expect a significant increase in useability.

I tell ya what, since Jax took over the 750 group way back when, this was what I was waiting for. There was NO way I could keep up with the goings on under the other format with all the traffic that was passing through.

All you need to do to get folks here is wait & keep reminding them on the old board. Eventually the folks that follow the group will make their way here on their own because of its organization, avatars and other features. It may take a year, or two, or more, but this will become 'the' group in time.

Personally, I'll hold the link to the other page, but I'll actually start checking in & hopefully participating more often ;)

Well, unless we get e-mail for post and read, I'm afraid I'll be mostly on the "old" group. Tried to catch up tonight after being out riding all day (y'all remember riding don't you?). Taking me as long to sort through and find/read about 20 new posts as it did for me to breeze through about 125 e-mail son Yahoo. When (if) the whole gang gets over here and starts generating 125 posts in about 24 hours.... fuggedaboudit.
