i found my bike! i guess the one in CT didn't work out since it was not far enough , LOL.

i'm flying out to Tampa , FL on the 16th and then it is 1239 miles home!:motorcycl
found a 4 month old 2007 Wee (the little v-strom) with 4K miles on it and some aftermarket parts (actually just a part but still nice...) and very reasonable price. owner claims he want's to go with beamer for his next bike and was about to trade it in so we agreed on slightly above dealer trade-in-bloody-rape price... o well, if anything is very wrong with it i'll just fly back.

but there is more! just as i'm going to be on my way to chicago, right when i Pass by North Carolina the V-strommers have a gathering in Iron horse launge Stecoah, NC. . i am officially invited but so do all other riders regardless of what they ride see bulletpoint number 4 (http://11109.rapidforum.com/topic=119973333650&search=ironhorse%2Cgathering) :D if any local vulcaneer's wants to stop by and meet i will be most probably staying there for the night of 17-18. no one of the strommers is keeping a room for me but who knows i might get a plce to roll out my bag. i will pack a tent just in case - the camping is free.. so this should be fun! for those who can, lets meet there! worst comes to worst you will be sleeping in my tent :)

I'm sorry, it was probably me who was ignorant. they commonly call the little 650cc suzuki vstrom a "Wee" or "Vee". post edited

the owner is in Tampa bay, prommised to pick me up from Tampa bay International (does this help at all? not sure where exaclty in tampa bay yet) actually invited me to stay with him for the night and then set out next morning. i probably not going to do that (he didn't sound like a creep, but i can't know how attached he is to his MC :D ) and leave right away and do at least a bit of miles.
but i guess i can stay at some motel in vincinity (any other suggestions are welcome) and set of the next morning. i would hate to bother the seller coming over to his place and then go somewhere to hang out and then come back for the nigh and all...

I don't think my bike will ready to roll by the time the V-Strom gathering is going on. I'm still waiting for some parts, then to the shop, then who knows how long they'll take :zzz:
