I replaced the turn signals (one was broken and I wanted clear) to do this it required me to cut the three wires on the fronts and two on the rear and splice to the new signals. Looks great but riding last night realized no speedo or tac lights. I'm okay at most fix it stuff but hate electrical. not sure of cause (fuse?) any ideas are greatly appreciated.


Thanks guys. After some rewireing and a fuse replacement things are back to normal.

Were they working before you cut the turn signals off? If you happened to cut the front turn signals with the key on you could have blown the fuse. I would start there and then start checking all connections that are connected to the speedo and tach. All of my connections were in the headlight housing and it is possible that one or both of them were unhooked during your signal swap. That is if you got in the housing to cut the signal wires. All though not very likely the bulbs could have all burnt out at the same time again this is not very likely.

Recheck your work for any shorts..
