A reminder to everyone when getting new tires. Ride very cautiously for a couple hundred miles. The stuff they put on the tires for storage needs to be worn off. It keeps the tires in good shape while stored but it doesn't help the gripping properties at all. It doesn't make much difference with a car but on 2 wheels, well I don't need to explain that to yall.

Ah shoot, that's the best time to make everyone think your 700 pound Harley is a real beast and smoke that storage stuff off.
Rev, and dump.
Now, I agree one hundred percent for the front tire, lol.
So how'd ya find out? Get the adrenaline flowin?
You might get somewhere if you take a stiff brush and some hot water to it, but no cleaner or anything. Plus you would still need to be careful for a little bit.
