I was digging through some stuff yesterday... and what crossed my eye underneath a pile of paperwork? The very last remaining VN750 patch! (A true collectors item!)

So, here's the deal. Post the date you think we'll hit 2,000 members. Don't choose a date that has already been chosen by anyone before you. Whoever gets the date correct (or closest but not going over) gets the final edition of the world renowned VN750 patch (recently appraised by Barrett Jackson at just over 5 dollars!) http://www.vn750.com/forum/images/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Oh, and you can enter your choices until May 1st (today!). Then we lock it down and wait to see who was closest!

I didn't think it was a difficult guess, based on a rate of registrations fro past several days. Anyway, I am very happy to get the patch. VN750 is my first bike, I've been riding it since 2004. In fact, I am on the bike today, commuting to downtown Baltimore.

Hey congrats! I really like that color combo on the 04. That was the first bike I looked at before finding mine and I just missed buying it. Your backrest bag seems to be just the right size. Is that a particular model of a name brand bag? Just curious, cause I've been searching for one that will fit just right. Thanks!

On the seat I have an old shoulder bag, which is about the same as a laptop bag, minus padding. It is held my a mesh I got in some motorcycle store. The rear shelf holds a wheeled carry-on bag, secured to the shelf by a padlock and tied with bangie cords! My 750 is 2003 model.

Hey, what ever works! I usually tie on a duffel bag filled with clothes and towels, to make a back rest on longer trips. Yours just looks a little more tidy then mine does. I've been looking for a smaller duffel bag that would just cover the back seat instead of the honker I have that hangs over both sides about 8 inches. I haven't looked real hard. Probably ebags.com would have what I need pretty cheap.

As fergy says, "whatever works" - I love my ammo can hard bags... but your set up does look pretty tidy for something cheap
