: Broken plastic elbow in fuel line?

I busted the elbow that connects the fuel line to the front carburetor. It looks like it was press fit onto a brass fitting that goes into the carb, and thus would be hard (if not impossible) to replace without buying the whole component, which I believe is 16020 on the parts fiche. I think I saw in another thread that someone tried to just connect a hose directly to the brass piece, but I don't know if that worked out for him or not. This was the thread: (won't let me post a url yet)

Any suggestions? Id prefer not to buy the big part because mine works fine and it is 150 bucks. I thought maybe I could superglue it, but I don't know how the fuel would interact with that...

Thanks much!
Ryan

(copied & pasted this from your "Check In" post)

Maybe check on eBay for cheap carbs to replace the broken part.
There's one there now, item #130098469293 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&viewitem=&item=130098469293).
