I just got back from KY lake earlier today, washed both bikes from the rain, glad to have that wallyworld rainsuit. Had a wonderful time. No complaints, even with some occasional rain on the rides, and the exploding tree we witnessed on the "long ride", I had more fun in the first day, than I expected over the whole trip!!!!
A truly very wonderful experience. my wife got her nickname now-----Bulldog named her "Snort"
because of the accidental snort she let out when laughing at a joke....
They warned her to pick a name before getting one assigned!!!
Bumpy now tells me I have my leg on backwards all the time, and almost had me look at my feet telling me I had two right feet or something like that,,,,and so I threaten him with my KAW patty, made of stopsign! (little inside jokes)

Thanks go out to everybody for suck a wonderful time and experience!!

I would also like to thank everybody that gave me some kind of gift, and I will not list them, because I am sure I will leave somebody out unintentionally, so again thanks again.....and snort really likes everything got for her........

We're home too!
As was talked about at Kentucky Lake, send me your pictures and include any stories you have to share as well. Remember we have to get that article together for GTOC.
We're gonna be published!
I'll also put everything together on a web page so we have something to remember during the cold rainy times and hopefully get some more there next year just to see if we were really that fun! (Answer? Yes we are!!)
I tell you, these people are absolutely great in person!

"Hello...is there anybody in there? Just nod if you can hear me...is there anyone at home?"

Glad you guys are making it home safely. Hello, good people. I met some of you at Kentucky Lake. My name is Cat Tracker. You all were some nice folks. Thanks for all the tips and hospitality. I wasn't able to make it back down on Saturday. I was the one that met Jim, Rick and Bulldog at the service station and they told me come on down after I told them I was a VulcanER as well. I'm no master of the road for I've only been riding about 4 years so I can't keep up with some of you folks here. I own a '95 Vulcan 750. I had a little Honda 350 about 20 years ago. That gives you an idea of my experience on one but I enjoy this bike very much!! The Cat Tracker comes from love and following of the UK Wildcats.

Dang...I was thinking of selling it awhile back but then I wouldn't have met you nice people. Thanks for the invite to the site. Thanks to STARMAN and many others whom I met. Flem-Dog comes to mind. I'm terrible with names..but thanks for the Gremlin Bell. It's hanging on my bike as I type.

Glad to have you aboard. Yes, I got to meet you too. Don't let my login name fool you - this is Jaremy aka Loose Cannon. I was among that group when you arrived, but we didn't get much of a chance to talk.

Cat Tracker, it was great to meet you Friday. I was wondering if you came back Sat or if I just missed you. Sorry if we barraged you with too much information on the bike. As you can see we are an enthusiastic bike and only too eager to share helpful tips, stores about problems we have had and how we resolved them, etc.. ;-)

As far as your skill, if you have been riding for four years, you would have no trouble keeping up with us. Many of us are new to biking, or retreads from our earlier years.

Great to have you as part of the family. Come back and join in as often as you can.

Thank you very much, Red Baron and Loose Cannon. I was pretty impressed with you folks. As I stated on the other board, when y'all come back down, let me know and I'll do what I can to help with the meet. There's some nice little maps that can be obtained at the local Chamber of Commerce showing the back roads in this area which I ride on occasionally + I know the good restaurants in the area since I'm a local. Whatever I can do....y'all just let me know in the future. Just remember I can't PAY for eveybody's room and board!! LOL, I would if I could, tho. Maybe when I hit the lottery. Sorry the Kentucky Dam is under construction. That's a pretty cool tourist attraction around here. Another cool trip would be to the 'Jefferson Davis Monument' about an hour away. It's a replica of the Washington Monument in D.C.(pretty cool).
