My bike is a 97 VN750 I got earlier this year(feb), it has 17K miles and runs beautiful.
I put 6k of it on there myself so far.
my wifes is a VN700, 1985..it runs good too and it has around 14K now and 2k of that is hers.

I have 7,201 on my '96 and it runs great. Bought it in Nov '02 with 3,400 miles on it. Would have more miles but don't take it to work (not a fun commute) and I also have a Suzuki.

Mine has 14,250 or so on it, bought brand new August of '03. This year I started out with about 7500 on it, so almost half have come just this riding season... toss Eureka Springs in there, and I should end the riding season with more than 16K.

Wow, that's a lot of riding for me! LOL

'00VN750 bought in October, 2000 new - just turned 24k this weekend. Would have been higher but this unpredictable Northeast summer has made riding to work non-condusive. Otherwise I'd probably have 3k more for the year :(

Bought mine in 2002 It had 64 miles on it. I have put a little over 3,000 on it since. Living here in Rainchester, it has been a crappy summer to ride. I hope to get out today first time in two weeks.

As she sits right now after the KY Lake trip T'Pol has 66,127 miles on her beautiful '93 frame. The new springs in the acct have really quieted her down. Thanks to Starr for the springs and Jaremy and Loran for the rebuild.

A day off from work and a cool morning ride on my '93 VN750...we don't get too many cool mornings in the desert. By the end of the trip: 40,846 (they aren't all mine). I am having a few problems here and there, but then again, some bikes never make it this far, eh?

My '99, bought used in early '01 had almost 7k, now has 37k.
Down for a few months while I debated doing a frame mod to make stator replacement easier, but never did it and ended up letting the dealer change the stator instead.
Still running like a champ! :smiley_th

I'm about to turn over 42K, but bought it with just over 41K (needed a stator replacement). Spent more of my summer wrenching than riding. :(

Just turned over 10,000 on the Nomad - purchased new 10/05 - for an average of 5,000 a year and I'm not done yet...

VN750 is currently at 34,999.6 and is awaiting a nice sunny day for me to take pictures of the OD at 35,000. I purchased her in 1995 with around 4,500 on the clock. So, in 12 years of ownership, I've averaged around 2,600 miles a year which is not entirelly correct as it has sat for the past two. The true average is around 3,200 a year with more in the later years and not so much in the early years.

We bought my wife's brand new in June 06 with about 5 miles on it, it's about to hit 7000 miles.

Funny how a 3 year old thread got resurrected- it'd be cool if some of the original posters updated their miles for us.

I bought my bike in Florida it is an 06 that I bought new. I have experienced nothing but pleasurable riding. My servicing dealers have been excellent and the bike has been outstanding. I Trailer it north for the summer months and return to Florida in the winter. The dealers I was referring to are Sky Powersports in Lake Wales FL and Kennedys Elyria Sports cycles in Elyria OH. The bike now has given me 8200 miles of enjoyment

My 1994 VN750 has 8,000 miles on it. It had sat for 4 years before I bought it this summer and the carbs were a mess. It runs great now.

If you have had it a full twelve months then that equals over 1600 miles per month!!!!! :wow: And that is "if" you rode all 12 of those months!!!

Over 47,000 miles on my '93 and I have put over 8,000 miles of those miles on it just this year alone. I had to replace my Stator & RR at about 28,000 miles, did the Manual Cam Chain Tensioners last November at 38,000 miles, and just had to replace the speedometer gear in the front hub last week (part cost me $9.00 on E-Bay). Other than that and some minor problems like replacing the speedometer cable about every 11,000 miles and a couple of broken clutch cables (my fault for not properley lubing the custom ones built for me by Motion-Pro) the bike has been great. I even had what I consider the ultimate compliment while riding down The Kennedy Expressway last Monday when a gentleman in a red Ferrari 348 pulled up next to me, gave me a big thumbs up and shouted out if I wanted to switch for an hour. Of course I told him you bet, but he would never see the Ferrari again!
