Riding at 60 mph and above for 5 minutes rear carb cuts out altogether !!
Slow down , pull over and it'll run fine till reaching 60+ and it starts all over again. Help !!
Pugs etc. are fine

If you go wide open throttle when that happens, will the rear carb come back?

yes it does but will only accelerate and not hold at cruising speed

Sounds like a needle jet problem as this is most of the flow form 1/4 to 3/4 throttle. The fact that you can not cruise but can accerate looks like you have gas flow to the carb, but perhaps are losing the mid range.
Have you ran any seafoam through it recently?
If you have your air box, this is a challenge. If you don't, then just pull your tank and pop open the cover of the rear carb and pull the needle out and see whats up. Check the spring and the diaphragm.

Hizzo, I didn't say the carb was bad, I just said that it cuts out.
No changes of any kind this situation just popped up.

Yeah I intend to get rid of that air box as soon as my jet kit and filters come in.

All the more reason I'd say you've got a clogged passage in that carb.

sounds like you are in need of a basic tune up... seafoam (i suggest filling the bowls and let it soak after you run some into the jets too....), plugs, and check on your wires...
let us know if that doesnt resolve it.
