Need to replace the stock headlight bulb in my 2001 750. Any suggestions for a good replacement that will give me the best light now that Daylight Savings Time has me riding in the dark in the morning and the evening?

use a truevision.... its the same gas mix as the silverstar, minus the blue tint.

I just switched mine out to a Sylvania SIlverstar white (9003 ST - 12v/60/55w). I'm really happy with it (now that I have my headlight actually pointed at the road. Kinda pricey, but well worth the money (about $40 for 2 bulbs).

I've ordered from them and it takes less than a week to get them by US Mail. Change the currency at the bottom left of the page before you shop bulbs. Osram, is the mother ship of Sylvania, it's the same bulb. The Silverstars H4 bulbs are $24.67 for a pair from these guys! AND, free shipping on all orders! Hard to beat.

Personally, I like the Silverstars, even though they have a blue tint. The xenon gas instead of halogen that they burn is much brighter so what you lose in the blue filter, I feel you make up for it in brightness gained plus. Just my $.02 worth!

I got the SilverStars and it made a huge difference over stock or whatever was in there that I got rid of.
