OK, sparked by a curious thought of wondering what the oldest post on this forum was, I found this sad unanswered thread.

Not the oldest it seems, but the oldest post that never got answered, and oddly from a fellow St.Louis rider, and even more oddly, his/her only post.

Add to this I have never heard of Crystal-Glo polish, so I looked it up.
Seems like decent stuff, not that expensive. (I have not bought polish for a long time)

The answer to the 2005 Vulcan's question can be found here in this review:
http://www.webbikeworld.com/Reviewed-motorcycle-products/crystal-glo/

And one can find more about the stuff from they that make it:
http://crystal-glo.com/usa/bike/

I personaly have used carnuba wax on my windscreen, and currently use this stuff as a "protective finish" -Turtle Wax ICE. A review of the product line here: (I just use the polish myself)

Anyway, I hope 2005 Vulcan figured out how to use the Crystal Glo and how to apply it..(it comes with instructions don't it? I use the micro fiber cloths myself)

I should also point out that Rain X is not reccomened for plastic, and for cleanig your windscreen, Plexus is the bomb.

I use McGuires detail spray wax put it on after every ride. The bugs come off real easy, keeps the windshield real nice. Skip

Ditto on Plexus. I use it on my windshield and face shields. Bugs just wipe off.
