Does this happen often? Does it prevent everyone from responding via e-mail?
Just wondering

Does not affect the postings if they are done through email. It is only when you are trying to read the posts from the board. Usual outages don't last too long. When it does, I hust hop over to my mailroom and continue there.

There are times when I can't get to the yahoo boards for hours. Especially during the day on weekends. I don't do the emails so I am stuck.

it seems to happen to me regularly, some days I just give up and come back the next. one day it happened to me 5 times, not counting the ones in a row, constituting the outtage time, I just frustrate easily by this stuff, and the annoying ad that may not even be there that says continue to message, I dont mind the ads on the message, can we say enough advertising is enough? I know nobody here is in charge of the ads, so Im not sticking this toward anybody, it just makes me wonder why we put up with it, and dont re-locate, and yes, I know some have thier opinion on relocating, but I wish that we moved for a week and then let everybody get used to it, then take a vote?
I dont think this let people move as they wish will ever work since people seem to be reluctant to experence change.
just my 2 cents.....

Well one of the primary reasons I went ahead with this site and spent all that time and money is to do exactly this. Provide a place where we as a colledctive group, could share thoughts, ideas and conversation in a much more stable and "less cluttered" fashion. If other members choose to digest a daily deluge of e-mails into their personal accounts, we should find a way to facillitate this.

perhaps there could be a selection on there like you subscribe to a post, except you are automatically subscribed to all posts, may have to go to the vendor to request such an option?

Oh I love change too. Though I have to admit, there is a bit of pride that gets bruised when you click on a page and find your work gone.
But such is life *S*
Rob has taken the site in a newer direction and I can just sit back now and offer input and even be a lurker *L* and work on the Kentucky Lake Gathering and get some riding in.

As far as VN700/VN750 Merchandise

Any other type you will have to be careful that you do not use a copyrighted logo.

I am happy to see communication going on about what people want to see on the site. I think if this site is ever to have the family atmosphere that the yahoo group has, it has to be put together as a group and the members listened to and responded to, otherwise, it will just be Rob's site that we go over and communicate on. It will be the members that make or break this site, no matter who does the pages, who makes decisions on how things look and no matter how many redesigns we go through.
Let's face it.. you can't have a group without a group feeling.
