Many times I don't log in. I'm at work or in a hurry. When I click on NEW POSTS I get a page full threads. When I do log in the list is much smaller. This morning I clicked on NEW POSTS and got one thread.

So I logged off and got 25 entries. Logged back in and got 2. Then it told me there were no entries for today to click here! Then I got 25 entries again.....

Sorry, there are no new threads to view.
You may search for threads updated during the previous 24 hours, here.

I think the system tracks activity buy user ID so it does not display what you have already read, if you get on another PC, say at work, it thinks your someone else and shows that days posts. I notice something similar between work and home.

When you don't see any new threads, try something like:
http://www.vn750.com/forum/search.php?do=getdaily&days=1
change the 1 at the end to 2, for last 2 days. Occasionally, I end up doing this if I get interrupted because when I come back to view the threads, several of them won’t show up. This site seems to work well for me so I don’t have to do it often

And then sometimes the site is too busy. Is it time to get another T1? This one is worn out.

I've had this problem too. I'll be viewing the new threads and there will be a list of about 25 or so. I read the top 3 or so and when I come back I get the "there are no new threads" message even though I know there were another 21 or so before. If I hit the back button repeatedly, I can get back to where all the new threads appear but that is cumbersome especially on multiple page threads.

I used to have that problem too. What I do now is right click on a thread, then click 'Open Link In New Window'.
Once I'm finished with those threads, I'll refresh the 'New Posts' page for any that were posted while I was reading the others.

That sounds like a good work around. I'll have to try it.
Thanks.
