Anybody know if the stator will short out if a wire comes off of the R/R? I had a ground come off and a frayed stator wire that was still partially intact and now no apparent battery charge after fixing the connections. Haven't had a chance to test the RR or stator. Thanks

I would think the r/r would burn up from the heat of conversion. You won't really know until you check 'em out. Then again, if the ground wasn't there, it is possible for the r/r to ground through another circuit. You may have a light blow out, or something worse, or nothing at all. Did I correctly confuse the issue?
