I installed a set of bar-end weights today. My Vulcan is pretty much vibe free but since I had a pair of stock Suzuki bar end weights lying around I installed them today. I had to trim the ends of my grips and the rubber anchors on the bar-end weights and then hammer them in because our 7/8" bars are thicker (smaller I.D.) than my Suzuki bars. It's really quite easy. If you can change sparkplugs you can do this. I haven't ridden it yet but it should cancel out some of the few vibes that do get to the handlebars. Here is link to for a heavyweight aftermarket set that I put in my Suzuki and recommend to anyone with a scoot that buzzes the bar and causes numb hands.

You need to have a tubular steel bar to use 'em, which our Vulcan does but some scoots have tubular aluminum bars (e.g.Kaw Z1000) or clip-ons (most super sports, aka crotch rockets) and can't use 'em.

Interesting Idea, never would have thought of adding weight to the bars to stop vibrations. My honda has bar end weights from the factory, but I never thought they were there for vibration, I just thought they were to protect the end of the bar if you laid it down, lol!!!

Well the stock Suzuki bar-end weights do help some. I did a 250 mile ride today but not as much as I would guess the good ones from cyclegadgets would help. My scoot has less handlebar vibes at 70 MPH than it does going 40 and also did before I put the weights on. Overall my VN 750 is fairly smooth for a high reving motor - gotta love the counter-balancer and the rubber engine mounts.
