: Countdown to Resurrection . . . 3, 2, 1
Sexysk8r 07-19-2004, 09:04 PM Update on Shelby's replacement motor . . .
45 minutes to go and I might have a shot at the parts bike on eBay I've been watching all week.
It will be a challenge to get her down here, but I know with all of the support of my Vulcan buddies I can make this happen.
Keep your fingers crossed for me! And, if this complete doesn't pan out for me tonite, there's a 750 from an '86 and a 700 from an '85 on standby. It now seems to be just a matter of waiting it out and narrowing down my options.
Send some good vibes this way would ya!!!?!!!
Love you guys,

Ratty 07-19-2004, 09:40 PM Sounds great Cory,
Got my fingers crossed for you. I hope that whichever bike you end up with is just the right one for you.
Should you have extra parts that you want to sell, I am looking for a luggage rack and possibly an extended backrest, depending on condition. If your bike has any of those items and you want to part them out, just let me know.
Good luck,
Ratty
Sexysk8r 07-19-2004, 09:52 PM Well, I guess that bike wasn't meant for me. I waited until the last minute of the auction and was outbid by $10 in a matter of just seconds.
On to my next option now . . . a motor from an 86 up in New Jersey. Where are you, Joe? We need to talk! LOL
Thanks for the vibes! (And if I do end up with a complete, no worries - I will part out for sure.)

Ratty 07-19-2004, 10:32 PM Sorry that one didn't work out for you, but perhaps the engine alone will be simpler and, in the end, a better solution for Shelby.

Sexysk8r 07-19-2004, 10:48 PM You may just be right, Ratty! Thanks for the kind words of encouragement.

Stargazer 07-19-2004, 11:09 PM Doh! What a dufus! I should have read ALL the posts first. Sorry Cory. Hope things work out for ya.
Sexysk8r 07-19-2004, 11:12 PM No, Stargazer, not a dufus . . . just having a blonde moment perhaps? TTee hee.
The sentiment (and the good vibes) are still very much appreciated and welcomed. After all, it ain't over yet!

Stargazer 07-19-2004, 11:14 PM Blonde, I wish, I'm turned gray long ago, at least not turned loose, but I fear that may becoming. Not follicled challenged yet.
