First off- the lowest price I could find for the Plexistar 2 (model N8372) was from psawonline. I ordered it on Monday and it arrived Thursday- today.
Installation was not that easy- the instructions were not clear and the speedo seemed to be in the way for where I thought it should be installed. The first install had a bit of the windshield down in front of the head light- so with the light on, the whole windshield lit up nicely- try night driving like that. So, it was back into the garage and some more loosening, tweeking and forcefull repositioning. Now it is about 1 inch above the head light, snug to the back of the speedo and tach. I haven't taken this latest effort for a test ride yet, but it seems solid enough in the garage.
When I test rode the previous config, the windshield seemed to do what I hoped- keep the wind off my chest and face at highway speeds.
If anybody needs detailed pics, let me know and I'll try and post some.

I have a PF 3, and the biggest problem I have with fitment is the turnsignals rubbing against it when I have it where I'd like it to be.
With a slight adjustment to where it needs to be, I pretty much look through the top edge of the shield at normal riding posture.
Maybe my new backrest will change how I sit a little bit for the better?

Try to keep the angle of the shield at the same angle of the front forks and go from there. Trouble with our gauges is the are very flimsey and move around easily, you may want to put something between the guages and shield so you don't get a vibrating noise. These can be a pain in the butt mount, mine was but just keep at it. When you are all done mark the bars where your mounts are incase you take it off you'll know where everything goes back on.

I have the PS2 also. First thing that I did was to lower the headlight by and inch. To solve the "light up sheild" problem, I coverd the edge of the sheild around the headlight with rubber door trim.
I have pics of the headlight lowering trick in my "driving lights" album below if any one wonders how it was done.

I had the same problem with the headlight illuminating my PS 2. It even made the bug splatters glow. It's kind of a neat effect, except that you can't see the road through it at night. I added the Kawasaki headlight visor and that solved the problem completely. You do have to fiddle around with the mounting angles to get the PS 2 just right, but once it's there - you should be able to see over it and through it and not have the wind blasting your chest.

NH_VN750, where are you located in NH? If you're near Nashua, I can help you with the Plexistar 2. I have the Plexifairing 3 and had to trim a couple of inches off the bottom of each lower (made it more like the PS2), so it would clear my driving lights and turnsignals; plus not rub against the air cleaner covers when turning hard. It was a royal PITA, but after messing with the fit for the Plexifairing 3 and having taken it off multiple times, I can probably get your PS2 to fit perfectly. My PF3 rests on top of the headlight bucket and against the back of the speedo & tach. I put flat, clear rubber bumpers from Home Depot on the PF3 right where it rubs against the gauges. This eliminated any noise from vibration. I'm 5'10", have a backrest and unless I sit up perfectly straight, I'm looking through the top 1-2" of the PF3.

Al- thanks for the offer, but I think I am all set right now. I just need a couple more miles under it to make sure. I'm right across the river from Gate City. If I need any help I'll give you a shout. Thanks again!
