I'm going to go in for the 500 mi service Thursday. I have some rust on some of the bolts holding my front disc to the wheel. It's on about four of the left side and 2 of the right side bolts. Is this normal or should I have the rusty bolts replaced Thursday under warranty?

Some rust is normal. I don't think they would replace it under warranty, but you could ask. If they don't laugh I'd love to hear what their answer was.

You can clean the rust up easily with a dremel motor too, some felt bobs (http://www.eastwoodco.com/shopping/product/detailmain.jsp?itemID=5766&itemType=PRODUCT&RS=1&keyword=felt+bob) and some metal polish like Mothers. In addition the polish will help prevent future rusting for a while.

Thanks. I just wanted to know if it was normal or not. (first bike ya know) I'll try polishing with the Dremel.
