I am new to the board and to the Vulcan. I own a 2002 750, my wife has a 2006 750. After taking the MSF course, we have been riding for three years. There was a 30 year absence while raising children. They are married and moved out...no we want to have fun again. Live in the Pacific Northwest and enjoy sightseeing, the Vulcan will allow us to extend our travel range.
We are both active in CMA.

I look forward to exchanging information with other riders.

Wow! Welcome to both of you. That's really awesome that you both ride. Wish I could get my sweetie to try it. I know she would love it. Someday... Sounds like us, kids grown and moved out, married, etc. It's like getting a huge raise! Guess thats where the toys come from... Well, enjoy the site and all the folks here. Lots of information to share!

Cool! Make sure you read the Vulcan Verses on the main forum page. Keeps the 'ol bike running at its best. Also, check out Fergy's spline lube procedure - some bikes were shipped without grease, and the parts will set you back a grand. Easy to accomplish fix.

If ya have any trouble starting the bike when hot, chime in and will tell ya how to fix it. Any racket from the ACCT's yet? We can tell ya what to do.

Oh - and we have a new video up on how to get the bike on its centerstand, but you probly already know this. Some of us (me) couldn't figure it out.

So CMA? Country Music Awards?
