Thanks for the heads up Knuckles. I had the first bid in on it but was out bid already. Might try to get a last minute bid in on it. Think it would be great on my bike for the winter months.

How did you make out on the fairing? Did you win?

Yes I did win the auction. With shipping it came out to $406.00 for everything. Looking forward to putting it on my bike. Should be able to ride into December with it now.

Just finished installing the fairing on the bike tonight (thursday) Took it for a short ride. It is sure a different ride now. Feels like a much bigger bike. Hoping to take it to work tomorrow to open it up on the highway and see if anything falls off. Will get some pics in the next couple of days. Wating for the hard trunk I got off ebay to come in. Then it is time to take pics again.

Got the new fairing installed on Thursday. Took me about 5 hours to put everything on. Re-installed my Rumble Road System on Friday night. Now I have my music back. Took bike out on the highway and it rides real nice. The new fairing moves alot of air. I shouldn't have much of a problem riding this winter as long as there is no snow on the roads. I will not ride in snow. Still wating for my hard trunk to arrive. Should come in Monday via FedEx. Will have to install it Monday night. Will have to take more photos. I posted some new photos I took Friday with the new fairing. They are in my album on the Yahoo VN750 group. "Viking" folder.

Nice! I know I really like mine. One thing though.. I thought that package included a tour fender. If so, any reason why you didn't put it on?

I have the tour fender for the bike but didn't like the way it looked so I didn't put it on.

Just to let you know you will (I think) like that fairing alot because I sure love mine. With the lowers off you will get some buffing, but with them on you can ride 80 mph or more with your cap on. I installed some vents in the lower to help on hot days. It keeps a little air going across your legs. thanks again, Dave
