Subject: Brake Pedal Pad
I finished installing the pad on the brake pedal. I did not want to
glue it or wire it on...so in true KM fashion I decided to bolt it on
with stainless steel hardware.
I made a plate for the pad to fit over out of 12 gauge stainless
steel and then drilled the stock pedal for the bolts to go through. I
used tree small lockwashers as spacers between the plate and the
pedal so I can remove and replace the pad if I want. It raises
the "thickness" of the pedal about 5/8 of an inch ..which feels real
good. Photos are in the folder "Brake Pedal Pad" at my site:
