Hi, Folks -
Just a "thank you" to all of you who helped me through my dead regulator crisis. Watching Gettysburg Bike Week roll by while I was sitting on a curb at Wal-Mart was not much fun, but it's been an interesting month since then of learning about my bike and getting some excellent advice from you all.
Relocated the r/r using your specs and pic, CEGodsey, and did a lot of checking and double-checking the existing stator with my multimeter. Seems to be pumping out around 50v at 5000rpm; took it out for an 80-mile ride in the heat this past Sunday, and she got me out and back home without any troubles. :motorcycl Hizzo, see my post about the '86 stator I bought...just in case.
