The right side ACCT was noisey (only when engine cold) for the past 10 months. Grambo trick didn't work. I took our the right side ACCT per instructions found on this site. The spring looked fine and seemed to do what it was supposed to. I put the ACCT back in and the noise is gone. I've put several hundred miles on it and the noise has not returned. rnewell 07-24-2006, 04:25 PM Sounds just like a computer reboot ! hyperbuzzin 07-25-2006, 06:36 AM I did the same thing with the ACCT springs, then, after a few hundred miles, the noise ended up starting again. Put in the TOC springs and haven't heard a thing in about 800 miles so far.
