Has anyone here tried the Slipstreamer S-08 Sport Shield? The fitment chart does not show it fitting our bike. Looking at the picture it appears that it should fit.

Here is a pic:

Any input is appreciated.

These things are a bit of a pain to mount, but once you get the gist of it,
this will fit the bike, the coverage is limited, but OK. The more vertical you put it the better the coverage.

I've got one I just pulled off the bike, replaced it with a Memphis Shades which is lots better if you want to put out the extra $$.

Thanks Gulf. Were you able to mount without any mods? Also, any interest in selling your old one?

No mods, It has four bars that have a ball socket that plug into the w/s. The two upper mount to the handlebars with a clamp arrangement, Then mount the two lower bars to the forks with the included hose clamp/ bracket deal. The bars mount to the w/s using a ball and socket deal, takes some pushing to get those in place. Then you got to fool around with the thing loose till you get everything straight.

Mine is not in 100% perfect shape, cause I'd used it on my previous V-Star, and the bars were too long and I'd cut them shorter, cause they hit the tank. But since I cut them, on the Vulcan the upper rods are just barely long enough to mount it OK. The w/s has a few scratches here and there, just normal wear and tear. Nothing major. You can PM me if you need a cheap deal.
