: engine stops running with tight right turn

When I am parking the bike (normally in nuetral) and turn the wheel hard to the right to back into a space, the engine dies. It is almost like the 'Kill' switch is flipped or the engine goes into gear and kills the engine.

I have installed a new handle bar and dropped it down a little from the 'chopper' look and don't know if that has had an effect on the cable lengths.

Has anyone run into this problem and is there a solution?

Thanks.

I had my ignition switch replace only 2 weeks after I got it. If the harness is not correctly routed it pulls the switch contact open. Seems that I have also read about this problem in the verses. If you are mechanically inclined you might be able to fix this yourself.

Could be any number of things grounding out.
How old is the bike?
Have ya checked that all bulbs are still working?
Any fuses blow when this happens?
Next time you have the bike running, turn to the right and listen closely for any sounds of electrical arcing to try and track it down.

thanks for your help. I re-arranged and adjusted the slack in the cables from the kill switch and it seems to have corrected the problem.
