Hey everyone. For anyone who needs a suggestion on which pipes to buy. Go with Vance and Hines. I just finished putting my own and my goodness. I couldn't be happier. I was riding with the harley guys without a problem!

I do have one concern. My gas tank is now leaking gas from the cap. I have little more than three quarters of a tank of gas. There was a small hose that was behind the right ear. Where was that suppose to go? I couldn't find a home for it. :-(

Can't speak for the gas leak, but that hose should go into one of the holes on the inside of the right ear, but do not bottom it out as it may plug the hole.

On the inside (motor side) of the right side air filter box (ear), there is a hole which that hose should go in. Can't find any diagrams to show you.
Look at the inside of the ear, you'll see it. Make sure is a hole that goes through as one of the two does not, hose needs a source of air.

Mikey, question for you. If I put V&H on my bike, and come home after midnight, keeping the rpms around 3000, will I wake my neighbors? Or, does the bike only get loud at higher rpms?
