Well, we just purchased a new coil winding machine at work. we are going to wind our own electromagnet coils. I am looking for a project to practice on so I can hone my new skills.

If anyone here has a bad stator they are going to toss out please send it to me so I can try to rewind it. I don't know if it will work but it is worth a shot.
