Thought it might be cool if we had a thread that showed the years and colors available in the States? Unless there is one and I missed it but I couldn't find it? :beerchug:

You could go to colorrite.com and put in the year and make of your bike and it will show you the proper color combination and proper color names. Here (http://www.colorrite.com/matrix-colors.cfm?CFID=1692998&CFTOKEN=91138312) is mine.

There is a page here with that info. Search Vulcan history and it's in one of the threads....

Both this chart (Maroon and Black) and Colorites name only one color correctly (Cosmic Splendor Red and Candy Wine Red) to match the colors I understand to be those for the 1990 and 1991 models.

My tank colors on a previously seen chart, almost identical to the one Hyper posted, lists them as Maroon and Cosmic Splendor Red.
The side covers are chrome plating over plastic.

color rite's listing for colors is correct for acutal pain names. The list above is more generic to the actual names. Just search your year & your colors will be listed. Like mine for example. It's listed maroon & black but actually called Cosmic Splendor Red & Candy Wine Red. Of course carlets all custom now. =)
