Hello all,

Due to some unexpected personal events, I have decided to part with my bike and I won't be getting another one. I'm not very happy about coming to this point, especially after all the mods (Norminizing) I've done and all the work I put into my web page.

So I'm asking for some advice on what the group thinks the bike is worth (I'm in Missouri) and would I be better off taking all my mods off the bike and bringing it back to near stock condition to make it more attractive to a prospective buyer?

Brand new AGM battery
Brand new Metzeler tires
Progressive fork springs
Back rest
Luggage rack

I see it like a house that is for sale fully decorated. You run the risk of attracting no one but also have a chance of finding someone who is willing to pay for what you've done.

My personal opinion? Stock.

You'll probably get more by selling the back rest and luggage rack separately. But if you leave them on you'd have more people interested, but probably not willing to pay a lot more for the bike. I'd take them off, see how much interest there was and if I had to "sweeten" the deal, throw them back on, one at a time. I'd leave the battery, new tires and springs and make sure everyone knew they were there. They make the bike safer and easier to ride, and in the case of the battery, deal with.

Let me know if you decide to sell the back rest separate.
