Hey!
Anyone heading to Starke Florida this weekend for their Bike Show? It runs from Friday Aug 27 till Sunday the 29th. I'm heading there on Friday for a look around. I think this is a small event compared to Daytona or even Leesburg, but a nice ride in rural Florida. If you do go just beware, Starke is a speed trap, the police are very aggressive about maintaining the posted speed limits.

Starke is just past BFE, been by there many times. Weather sucks for that long a ride.

x2 on what OldDawg said above--Starke, FL is a speed trap, indeed...! Very much a "Barney Fife" mentality there with posted speed limits.

Starke, FL is so bad with its speed trap reputation that it consistently makes the listing on the AAA website.
