Is it hard to do? Right now it is at 500 rpm, I would like to move it up a notch.

Anyone know the proper procedure?

There is a black knob on the left side of the motor by the carbs. This is your Idle adjuster. Verry easy to do

500!???! lol my bike starts studdering around 1k rpm. mine likes to sit around 1200 rpm's at idle, and i have to adjust it for winter vs summer

I think I saw in Clymer somewhere that idle supposed to be around 1200.
