I pulled in the parking lot in a hurry to get into work. As I was
putting down the kickstand the bike just got top heavy and it
laid down on my left leg. All is well except I bent the clutch
handle. Does anyone know if I can just replace this or do I need
to buy a whole assembly? Also, I noticed clear liquid on the ground
under around the seat part of the bike. Is that maybe water from the
battery? It's an 06 VN750. Thanks.

you can replace just the lever... I recomend a set of wide Flanders levers.

If the clear liquid is from the battery, it would be acid - not good and one of the reasons to have a sealed battery. You needed to check if any battery acid spilled out of the battery itself (the caps have holes in them) or just from the overflow tube. If any spilled out of the battery, it ends up on electrical parts which don't get along well with acid.

If it's only bent a little you can bend it back using a pipe that slides over the end of the handle and carefully work it back into shape. Don't put all of the bend in one spot and don't put any pressure on the hinge point. Move the pipe up and down the lever as you bend. Use fine grit sand paper to get any nicks out. You'll want to be sure and clean up any spill from the battery. Take off the seat, pull the battery and inspect everything under there. Make sure the vent tube is properly routed while you're in there. It most likely is kinked or in the wrong spot if you haven't already fixed it yourself. "Dealer prep" is a bit of a joke. I've had trouble in the past putting the kickstand down and then have the bike move forward. Kickstand folds up and down she goes. I'm pretty careful now to make sure the bike is done moving (especially forward) before I put the stand down.

Do you mean while it's still on the bike or should I remove it first?

I did both levers while on the bike.

I tried to bend it back, but the knob on the end snapped off.
I can get a new one for $19. The amazing thing about this is
because I had the steering locked, the clutch lever was the
only thing to touch the ground. It actually curled as it bent
from the ground. No more scratches anywhere. I also replaced
the battery with an Extreme sealed one.

That's too bad. It was just bent too far. My steering wasn't locked when mine went down so the lever didn't absorb the whole load. $19 isn't bad though.
