I would think that a relay might be at fault but unless it is causing some sort of problem then I don't think it really matters.... but then again I am not an expert.

I think TADT....the headlight is supposed to shut off when you crank the engine and come back on when running...

Actually, the headlight is suppose to be off when you first turn the key from the off posisition to the on possition. After the engine turns over some, a relay will be energized and the headlight will come on.

On some Hondas, the headlight is connected to the starter button - if the starter button is pressed, the headlight is off - if the starter button is not pressed, the headlight is on.

What light are you referring to? If it's the white headlight indicator it may mean that a filament is burned out.
