I only recommend dealerships for parts I can't get cheaper or faster from the internet. cheapcycleparts.com is usually the cheapest, but you have to add shipping costs. I ordered tires online and mounted them myself. Had a local independent shop balance them.

Same here. If I can find parts cheaper online I buy them online. If the part is $20-30+ shipping or less online, I just go a head and run to the dealership because it's quicker for just a few dollars more.

I bought my tires online and had an independent small shop mount and balance them, still coming out cheaper than if I had purchased the tires from the shop and had them mount and balance.
