The weekend of September 18 I'm hoping to go on a 3-day motorcycle trip with my son before he deploys to Iraq. Our destination will be the Pittsburgh, PA area to watch little brother play football (University of Dayton vs. Robert Morris ~ assuming his hamstring heals by then). I'll be on my trusty VN 750, and he will be on his new Suzuki Gladius.
If anyone has suggestions about nice off-the-interstate routes (blue highways) to take between Columbus, OH and Pittsburgh let me know! (Hope the weather is decent too.)

Hmm, I've been on quite a few nice roads in that area, but usually when out cruisin' for no other reason than being out cruisin', and never really paid attention to what roads or where I specifically was.
Maybe THIS (http://www.motorcycleroads.com/index.htm) site can help.

40 out of columbus to cambridge to 77 n to 22 east. 22 goes to four lane just a bit before Cadiz. 22 will take you right by me and out to Robinson Pa. Or 16 east will take you out through Amish country to 250 east around Tappon lake to 22 east. Both nice routes.
