Hey my name is Jason and I was looking for other vn750 riders in the Springfield, Mo area.

I am a new rider with my first bike - wouldn't mind meeting new people that are new to riding and or veteran riders that want to teach or like to tinker with thier bikes.

I live on the other side of the state, Cape Girardeau, but I know at least one other VN750 rider in the Springfield, MO area. Hope over to the yahoo group at http://tinyurl.com/2chrjn. River Rat Joe lives around Springfield. He is going to be coming to our gathering at KY Lake at the end of the month.

Hey Jason

I'm River Rat Joe on the Yahoo site, JoeM here. There's three of us in my little group, but I'm the only one who gets on the forum. My buddy Alan (Dragon) rides my old VN750. Another buddy Mark bought a 750 from a former forum member about 2 years ago. Alan and I ride quite a bit. We can get together sometime.. PM me your contact info.

Whats goin on River Rat. I will send you my info as soon as I am street legal. Have to get some tires to pass inspection sigh. And unfortunately not enough dough at the moment. Although I have been riding anyway, just dont wanna cruise to fast or too much as my back tire is bald.

I live right about at Division and Grant St.

Sure, let me know. I am SE, near Lone Pine & Battlefield. I am pretty sure there isn't anyone else here that get's on the forum.

Hey, you should check Cruisin' 66. I was in there yesterday and they have two racks of tires in the showroom marked WAY down. ME880s for $71!! I couldn't recall the exact size of the 750 tires. You might call them and ask if one of the sale tires is a 140/90/15 or a 150. $71 would be a great deal on an ME880. They also had some Dunlops on the rack.

Hey, I'm located at Cabool, MO. Just got my vn700 sunday, found this site yesterday, and very glad I traded my quad for this bike. I've got an ATV repair shop south of Cabool. If you MO guys are ever in my area stop by and see me.

Hey MisterPister, Have you found any tires yet? I can make you a real good deal on a set of Kendas. Let me know what size you want (100 or 110 front) (150 or 170 rear) and I can shoot you a price. Can also get Bridgstone, Continental, and Fullbore tires.
P.S. I just took a 1 7/8" holesaw and cut the baffles out of my pipes(factory jobbies) sounds better, has a deeper tone. PM me if you need anything.:beerchug:
